The Gazebo
Home of the best mudslide on the Island and just steps away from the ferry, Gazebo is probably the first and last stop you want to make on Island. Wait out the taxi or ferry lines and indulge in an adult milkshake that’s worth every single calorie.
Pro tip: If you have bags you don’t want to hold on to, ask to store them in The Tavern (the affiliated restaurant next door).
-
Galley Beach
One of the most elegant restaurants on the Island and the best place to take in the sunset, Galley Beach is a bucket list dining experience. Between the lounges, fire pits, cabanas, white linens and in-sand seating, you may mistake yourself for somewhere on the Amalfi Coast.
Plan ahead: The restaurant starts taking reservations 14 days in advance, and they will book up.

The Box
Dubbed as “Internationally Infamous”, The Chicken Box aka ‘The Box’ is the Island’s main night life spot. Wear shoes that you don’t mind getting covered in Bud Light and get ready for a lot of dancing, drinking and debauchery. There’s always live entertainment, and if dancing isn’t your thing, there’s dartboards, pool tables and ping-pong.
Pro tip: Get there early, or you’ll spend the entire night in line.

One of the best surf beaches on Nantucket. Popular for it’s seclusion and ability to drive on the beach.
Nantucket is very bike friendly, with paths stretching from Madaket (west) to 'Sconset (east). Bikes are easy to rent from Cooks, Young's, or the Nantucket Bike Shop, all located right in town. You can take your bikes back to town on "The Wave Shuttle" if you get tired!
